Caleb why did you slide into first?

Because I thought it would be fun.

Shake head, roll eyes, shake head again

The Braves have had a tough couple of weeks. We lost a couple of close ones but pulled out a victory last night.

The season is past the half way mark, the toughest teams are behind us so maybe we will end strong.

Speaking of Baseball Barry Bonds moved within 10 HR’s of the record. Its too bad there is all the controversy. Here is the way I see it. Did Barry use Steroids? Sure. Did most everybody else for a while? Sure. Did the pitchers he faced use them? Sure. I think its a moot point. I could argue they they have a much greater affect on pitching in terms of speed and recovery time for pitcher’s arms. The fact remains that unless there is some Roid that increases the efficiency of the optic nerve and your hand eye coordination, they don’t help you hit a baseball. They might increase bat speed. But you know he’s clean now and #745 was the one decent pitch he saw and it left the park. Most true home-run hitters I have ever seen have a stroke that has less to do with muscle than it does with know how and form.

I know I’m in the minority, but I say go ahead and break the record and get it over with. It’s a unbelievable number of Home Runs. Go ahead Barry, Have some fun.

Swing away! The ‘catcher’ (whomever that will be) has already an offer of One Million dollars for the ball….where did you say the game was going to be played?!
