a sweet voice

Today I was holding our youngest (Titus who is 4) while we were worshiping, we were singing Tomlin’s “How Great is Our God” and i hear this little sweet voice singing:

How great is our God,
sing with me
How great is our God,
and all will see
How great, How great
Is our God

Age to age he stands
And time is in His Hands
Beginning and the End,
Beginning and the End
The Godhead, Three in one
Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb,
The Lion and the Lamb

It was a sweet, sweet gift to hear him singing those words.

Later he told me he was practicing.

    Tommy -

Thanks! Hopefully Titus will grow up to have the heart of his daddy. You have a wonderful young family. Treasure them always!

    Much love to you today!

You’ve got a little Worship Leader-in training, huh? I love hearing my daughter sing. Although my son is a little bit less graceful to MY ears, I love it when he sings too, as I know it is a “sweet sweet sound to (His) ears”.

Nothing beats hearing your child praising God.

What I would give to hear my 15-year-old son sing. I’ve never once heard him sing. Not once, in as many years as we have gone to church; virtually every Sunday since he was an infant.

He has a great gift in balancing the sound on the huge mixing board in the balcony at church. He has many gifts, and is not at all bashful about using them to serve God.

    But he does not sing.

I would love to hear him. Just once.

The gift your boy gave you is more precious than you know.

Very sweet story! Love his “practicing” remark, too funny! Maybe he’s been to one too many concerts? :)
