Tonight

May 18, 2006

Tonight its the Christians vs. The Church of God.

Lets hope the Christians kill the Church of God!

talking softball of course.

Update: leave it to a bunch of Christians to destroy The Church of God. We had already annihilated Fellowship on Tuesday. Upcoming highlights include Christians vs. St. Paul. And I always enjoy seeing our other team Church of Christ vs. Grace. I always pull for Grace.

    Go Christians!!

    Batta-batta-batta….Sah-WING Batta!

Now, Tommy . . .. I mean, it would be a little easier if the other team were the Lions or Warriors or something, you know.

But, I’m always for the Christians no matter what (especially those who are MOTC), so “Go Christians!”

We always had trouble with the Catholics… they recruited out of their faith!

Man, that must have been a defining moment when all the Christians left the Church of God so they could have their own softball team …!

Is there only one softball team going to heaven?

Would love to hear the pray before the game starts. (-:

If you are hoping the Christians “kill” the Church of God then you NEED to pull for Grace!!!

Well Lee, we pray after the game for some reason. But I can imagine some good ones.

Keith, It was another great split in history. We play southern reformed softball.

Donna, I did hope for killing, but as I said we destroyed.

David, I am not the umpire. I did once tell a player from Peter’s Rock Church that their name was a little redundant. Not that ours couldn’t be taken as arrogant, but at least I am not on Church of Christ. 😉

Dee, Maybe next year I could talk them into jersies with MOTC on them. You think?

    Terri,
Our other team was guilty of that last night. They played after us and I didn’t know half the guys out there. For some reason the Catholics don’t play here.

You are sooo funny… I’m sure Grace is sifficient.

  10. May 20, 2006 8:19 am

We solved that problem. We now play in the “beer” league.

Only problem- the Christians keep getting persecuted.

Hey, wait a minute, there is somethng biblical about that.

I can’t wait to tell the others guys! 🙂

That is hilarious. Congrats on smokin those so-called Christians. 🙂
