Bad Bad Leroy Brown

August 24, 2006

Well he’s still fighting. I am at home now after an hour or maybe hour and half of sleep if you total up little naps. We played try to get out of the bed all night, moved rooms twice, had a few scares with oxygen levels and extrememly high heart rates. But as of 7 tonight things remain about the same. Heart rate high, Pancreatitis cleared up, still some liquid on his heart. But apparently getting better. Still very disoriented and not happy.

If you want another story, you’ll have to pry it out of him. He will tell about me calling a woman ugly at the doctor’s office.

Why can’t you just be sweet? We don’t call ladies “ugly”. Tommy, Tommy, Tommy…

When they’re “ugly” we don’t call them ladies, either, actually, do you think? (In defense of Tommy. After all, he DID put a new roof on our “previous” house.)

I’m glad you’re home, Tommy, and will pray for you in all and through all with your dad. And for your dad, as well. It’s hard even in the best of circumstances, and I know your’s aren’t anywhere near that.

    Glad you have good news.

    Was she ugly?

Now, try to get some rest!
Still praying for your Dad and whichever sister is with him now.

Were you a kid when you acknowledged the ugly lady or an adult? *wink* LOL

Still prayer for you and yours T.

“Ugly…” you mean in looks or actions?

Lee has a good point. I was thinking “actions,” not looks, but sometimes they aren’t ladies, either. Any more than some good looking woman who may act ugly.

Ugly is as ugly does. Beauty IS more than skin deep, I think, so that someone who may at first appear homely takes on a lovely countenance once we get to know them.
