Adoption update

April 17, 2007

We got the call this morning that we have received our LID.  That stands for Log in Date.  This means that all our paperwork has been translated and accepted by the Chinese government.  It also means that we begin the long wait on a child being referred to us.  But this is a big step, we are officially in the Chinese system.

Fantastic! We have 2 grand daughters who were adopted. And, we have a couple in our church who just a few months ago adopted a Chinese baby girl. Lin Lee is a hit with our folks. Her mom is Lyndee, so she is named for her adoptive mom.

Good luck and I hope the process goes quickly.

    Grace to you,
    Royce Ogle
